PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Pitt-Greensburg F Nadege Durand averaged a double-double last week with 15.7 points and 10.7 rebounds per game. Durand had a week-high 20 points against Mount Aloysius, while also adding 10 rebounds, five assists, four steals, and one block against the Mounties. She then recorded a week-high 17 rebounds in a huge win over Penn State Behrend. She also recorded 11 points, six assists, and two steals against the Lions. Durand finshed out the week with 16 points, five rebounds, six assists and four steals against Pitt-Bradford. In addition to her 15.7 points and 10.7 rebounds on the week, Durand had ten steals (3.3 steals per game) and 17 assists (5.7 assists per game) while the Bobcats went 3-0.

 

 

BEST OF THE REST: Hilbert G Ashley Schroeder dominated both ends of the court as the Hawks earned an impressive 62-51 home court victory over Alfred State, as she earned her second consecutive double-double with 36 points, 11 rebounds, and was credited with two assists and two steals & two blocks on defensive end, she then recorded 10 points and two defensive rebounds against PS-Behrend...PS-Altoona F/C Alexis Cannistraci had a consistent week for Penn State Altoona in a pair of AMCC games, as she scored 16 points while grabbing four rebounds and dishing out three assists against La Roche before scoring 17 points to go along with seven rebounds, six assists, two steals, and a block against Alfred State...Alfred State G My'ana Davis averaged 19 points per game and led the Pioneers in all thee games over this past week, as she scored a game-high of 22 points and added nine rebounds, four assists and four steals against Medaille on Monday, then added 12 points and three assists against Hilbert before putting up 23 points in a come-from-behind victory against PS-Altoona...PS-Behrend G Rachel Majewski had double-digit points in each game this week, as she scored 11 against Pitt-Greensburg and added 12 against Hilbert on Saturday, while also tallyingfive assists and three rebounds...Medaille G Shyanne Trinh had a total of 32 points, scoring 14 points and grabbing three steals against Alfred State, and then adding 18 points, four rebounds, one assist, and two steals against Mt. Aloysius...La Roche G/F Makayla Abram earned her first career double-double with 20 points and 14 rebounds, as she averaged 53.3 percent from field goal range, and shot 100 percent from the foul line, while also recording three steals.
