PLAYER OF THE WEEK: La Roche F Jenna Cole helped her team remain perfect in conference play earning a 3-0 record on the week to improve to 11-0 in AMCC action. In the Redhawks first game at Franciscan, Cole dropped 14 points and nine rebounds in a 57-47 victory. In the AMCC Game of the Week against #2 seed Hilbert College, Cole recorded a team-high 21 points and a career-high 16 rebounds while shooting a perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line. In the final game at Pitt-Bradford, Cole recorded her second straight double-double posting 15 points and 10 rebounds while adding three assists. On the week, Cole averaged 16.7 points per game, 11.7 rebounds per game and 2.0 assists per game, while knocking down 15-of-30 (50%) shots from the field, 5-of-9 (56%) from beyond and the arc and a near perfect 15-of-16 (94%) from the free throw line.

 

BEST OF THE REST: D'Youville G Sara Pfeiffer had an incredible week for the Spartans, as she began the week with a record-setting performance against Pitt.-Bradford, hitting a program record 10 three-pointers in the 73-59 victory, she went on to score 18 points in each of her next two games, as she averaged 23.3 points and five rebounds per game...Pitt-Greensburg G Nadege Durand's play helped propel the Pitt-Greensburg women's basketball to a perfect 3-0 record, as the Bobcats posted road wins at both Alfred State and D'Youville and a victory on its home court against Mt. Aloysius, as she averaged 18.3 points and 12.3 rebounds in three games...Hilbert G Emily Gawlak averaged 19 points per game in a 2-1 week for the Hawks, including a 30 point performance at La Roche on Saturday, as she also averaged 5.7 rebounds and 2.0 assists in the three game stretch as well...PS-Behrend G Caitlin Carnuche was a key player in both AMCC matches this week, as she averaged a team-high 15.5 points, including a team-high 21 points in the narrow victory over PS-Altoona, as she also went 7-for-10 from the free-throw line, helping the team secure the win going 5-for-6 from the foul line in the final four minutes of the game...PS-Altoona G/F Alexis Cannistraci had a great pair of games for the Lady Lions, helping her team go 1-1 in AMCC play, as she averaged 17.5 points per game, 9.0 rebounds per game, 2.0 assists per game, 1.5 steals per game, and 1.5 blocks per game...Pitt-Bradford G Shirleah Ragin averaged 10.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists per game in three contests for the Panthers, including scoring 12 points, grabbing eight rebounds and adding four assists against Mount Aloysius...Medaille G Erin Hardick scored 18 points and added seven assists in the team's first conference win over Alfred State, she then added four points and grabbed eight defensive rebounds against Mount Aloysius.
