PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Hilbert G Emily Gawlak averaged 24.5 ppg in two games this championship weekend. Leading her team with a 43% range from three. Her defense and offensive ability led the Hawks to a second AMCC championship in back-to-back years. Gawlak also grabbed 14 rebounds from the guard spot on the weekend. 

 

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend F Alanna Dibble recorded two double-doubles this week, with the first in the AMCC first round against Altoona with 16 points and 11 rebounds, as she went 6-6 from the free-throw line and 5-6 from the field. Dibble had another double-double against La Roche on Saturday in the AMCC semifinals, scoring 19 points and grabbing 11 rebounds while going 9-9 from the field. She also chipped in nine points on Sunday in the AMCC Championship along with seven rebounds...La Roche F Jenna Cole was named to the AMCC All-Tournament Team after scoring 18 points and pulling down eight rebounds in the semifinal game against Penn St. Behrend...Pitt-Bradford SO Shaelyn Snipes averaged 13 points per game in a pair of playoff contests this week. She knocked down seven three-pointers and also collected 13 total rebounds while dishing five assists in 34.0 minutes per game....PS-Altoona G Paige Burk had a big night on offense and defense in her team's tough 67-60 loss to Penn State Behrend in the first round of the AMCC Tournament on Wednesday evening, as she scored a team-high 16 points, including connecting on four three-pointers, while adding three assists. She also finished with seven rebounds and recorded five steals.
