MOUNTIES' KOHLWAIES NAMED TO D3HOOPS.COM TEAM OF THE WEEK

Late Monday night, D3hoops.com released their weekly honor roll, the D3hoops.com Team of the Week. Mount Aloysius College sophomore guard, Angelina Kohlwaies was selected to the team for games during the week of Jan. 20-26.

 

Kohlwaies had the most productive week of her career, scoring an all-time high of 26 in the Mounties victory against Pitt-Greensburg, while going 9-for-15 from the field and 6-for-9 from three point range, along with six assists and seven rebounds, three steals, and two blocks. She then followed that up with 25 points on 9-for-10 shooting in a victory against Pitt-Bradford.  Kohlwaies averaged 26 points, six rebounds, six assists, and three steals while leading the Mounties to a 2-0 week.

 

With the honor, she became just the second player in program history to be named to the Team of the Week, joining teammate Molly Kosmack, who received the honor during the 2023-24 season.

 

Mount Aloysius is currently 11-7 overall, including a 6-3 record in AMCC play. Kohwaies is averaging 11.3 points per game, 5.1 rebounds per game, and leads the team in assists.
