AMCC WOMEN'S BASKETBALL GAME OF THE WEEK: MEDAILLE @ PITT-BRADFORD

AMCC Women's Basketball Game of the Week:
Medaille College @ Pitt-Bradford

The AMCC women's basketball game of the week features two teams that are battling it out for second place in the conference rankings, as Medaille College (10-11, 9-5 AMCC) travels to Pitt-Bradford (12-9, 9-5 AMCC) on Wednesday evening. The two teams, both with 9-5 conference marks, are tied for second place behind La Roche College. The top two seeds heading into the conference tournament will receive first round byes

Medaille had won nine straight conference games before dropping a heartbreaker at the buzzer to AMCC top seed La Roche on Saturday. The Mavericks are led by the trio of senior guard Kelli McCauley, junior forward Dani Reinwald and senior guard MarceAnn Dunning. McCauley is tops for Medaille, and fifth in the conference, averaging 17.4 points per game. Reinwald averages a double-double with 16.4 points and a league-leaging 17.2 rebounds per game. While Dunning nets 16.1 points per game. 

Pitt-Bradford also dropped their most recent game on Saturday, when they lost by four points to conference foe Mount Aloysius. The Panthers are led by junior guard Ali Rinfrette who ranks second in the conference with 20.6 points per game, and is 11th with 6.8 rebounds per game. Senior forward Brittany Watts is tenth in the AMCC with 6.7 rebounds per game. 

Medaille won the first meeting between the two teams, 78-58.
