PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Franciscan INF Anna Swierczewski had an outstanding week for the Lady Barons as they went 5-1 on the week. Swierczewski posted a batting average of .458, slugging .750 while having an OPS of 1.212. On the week she went 11-for-24 with two doubles, a triple, and a homerun. Swierczewski scored six runs and added 10 RBI while swiping five bases, helping the Lady Barons expand their record to 9-3 start to the season.

BEST OF THE REST: Medaille C Abbigail Doherty had a quality showing for the Mavs in their opening week, resulting in a team-leading .320 average, driving in 11 runs, scoring six and swiping four bags, while also throwing out three runners attempting to steal...La Roche OF Sydnee DeShong was stellar in her role for the Redhawks during their 6-1 start to the 2020 season at the Fastpitch Dreams Spring Classic in Myrtle Beach, as she went 10-17 (.588) at the plate, driving in five RBIs and drilling two doubles...PS-Altoona CF Brooke Colledge had an impressive showing at the plate in six contests for the Lady Lions last week, who competed in The Spring Games in central Florida, as she finished the week with a .471 batting average, going 8-for-17 at the plate with four runs scored, three doubles, three RBI, two stolen bases, and one home run...D'Youville OF Jackie Langer had a very impressive week for the Spartans, leading the team to a 4-2 record, as she recorded nine hits with two doubles, eight RBIs and three runs scored...Pitt-Bradford SS Gabby Carpenter hit .333 over five games for the Panthers in Tucson, as she went 2-for-3 in the win over Dickinson, scoring one run, driving in two and stealing three bases, and then went 3-for-3 against Baldwin Wallace, scoring one run and driving in another...Pitt-Greensburg INF/P Brittany Dunn appeared in all eight games for the Bobcats where she went 10-for-21 at the plate for a .476 average, hitting two doubles, scoring six runs, slugging .571, and posting a .542 on-base-percentage.
