The Alfred State Pioneers (6-14, 2-4 AMCC) host the Pitt-Bradford Panthers (6-18, 2-4 AMCC) in a make-up game on Sunday, April 24. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m. for the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Softball Games of the Week.
 
Pitt Bradford is off to a 2-4 start in conference play. Their two AMCC victories were led by sophomore pitcher Ashley Stein. Stein threw two complete games in the victories, allowing just one run over 14 innings pitched as she beat Mount Aloysius 3-1 and recorded her first career shutout against Medaille.  Lexi Peters has led the offense as she is hitting .395 with 15 RBIs .

The Pioneers will be coming off a two-day AMCC road stint where they will be playing doubleheaders against Hilbert on Friday and Pitt. Greensburg on Saturday.
Kaylee Griffith and Kailey Wonica lead the Pioneers offensively. Griffith has a .439 batting average with 29 hits, 14 runs, two doubles, two triples, one homerun and 14 RBIs so far this season. Wonica has a .397 with 25 hits, nine runs, three doubles, one triple and 17 RBIs so far this season. She is sixth in the conference for both batting average and RBIs. Defensively the Pioneers are led by Brittany Fisher. Fisher has started 11 games and has 13 appearances with a 4-7 record. She has pitched 11 complete games, 81.2 innings, has struck out 38 batters and has a 5.06 ERA.
 
Alfred State and Pitt-Bradford are currently tied for fifth place in the conference after six games.
