AMCC ANNOUNCES SOFTBALL 25TH ANNIVERSARY TEAM

Throughout the 2021-22 academic year, the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) will be celebrating its 25th anniversary. As part of the celebration, the AMCC office will be releasing a 25th anniversary all-AMCC team for each of its 16 conference-sponsored sports.

Former Penn State Behrend standout Julie Koman stands as the only AMCC softball player to earn both Player and Pitcher of the Year honors in the same year, picking up the recognition in 2009, while also being named Player of the Year in 2006. Other two-time Player of the Year honorees include Behrend's Mandy Bodnor (1999 & 2000) and Mount Aloysius College's Jalisa Westover (2012 & 2014).

As a team, Penn State Behrend holds the most AMCC softball championships with nine, while Pitt-Bradford is next in line with four.
