LOGAN PATTERSON NAMED MOUNT ALOYSIUS MEN'S VOLLEYBALL COACH

A standout Division I player with local connections, Logan Patterson has been named the new head men's volleyball coach at Mount Aloysius College.  
   
Patterson is a 2014 graduate of nearby Saint Francis University, where he was an all-conference performer and team captain. He first entered the coaching ranks at his former school, Derry Area High School, where he served as an assistant coach for the boys volleyball team beginning in 2012. He then moved up to the college level in 2022 as Assistant Coach at rival Saint Vincent College. 

Patterson also has club coaching experience; he was an assistant coach and later a head coach for the Pittsburgh Volleyball Club from 2012-2015. In addition to his playing success at Saint Francis University, Patterson excelled in high school and was chosen for Pennsylvania's Finest Forty All-State Team in 2009 and 2010.

Patterson will be taking over a young men's volleyball program that is only in its second year and finished with four wins last season. 

He earned a Bachelor's degree in Science and Administration from SFU and currently resides in Derry, Pa.
