PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona FR Casey Hess had a tremendous week for the Lions to help his team clinch a spot in the AMCC Tournament. Hess went 5-1 overall in conference play, including 3-0 in singles and 2-1 in doubles in a busy weekend of conference play. In Friday's close 5-4 loss to Penn State Behrend, Casey won 6-2, 6-3 in No. 3 singles and 8-3 in No. 2 doubles. On Saturday's 6-3 victory at Medaille, the freshman won 6-4, 6-4 in No. 3 singles and lost 8-5 in No. 2 doubles. In Sunday's 8-1 win over Mount Aloysius, he prevailed 6-0, 6-1 in No. 3 singles and 8-1 in No. 2 doubles.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Pitt-Greensburg SR Turner Price continued his streak of dominance in singles play, going 2-0 on the week, as he has not lost a singles matchup since his Freshman year. Price led the Bobcats to a AMCC Conference victory over Mount Aloysius going 2-0 in the match between singles play and doubles play...Medaille FR Ben Tubbs went 2-1 in singles matches on the week. He went 1-0 in AMCC singles matches winning 6-1 and 6-0 in the fourth singles position. Tubbs went 1-1 in doubles matches this week. He won his doubles match against AMCC opponent Penn State Altoona, 8-5 in the third doubles position.
