PRICE EARNS THIRD PLAYER OF THE YEAR HONORS; MTEN ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM RELEASED
Pitt-Greensburg junior Turner Price has once again been named the AMCC Player of the Year. Price had a record-setting season enroute to his third AMCC Player of the Year award. He was named AMCC Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year in 2019 as well as Player of the Year in 2021 (the 2020 men's tennis season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic). Price set the Pitt-Greensburg records for combined wins and singles wins for a career. He finished his career winning the last 33 singles matches he participated in, stretching back to his freshman year in 2019. Overall, Price went 7-0 in AMCC singles play and won three AMCC Doubles matches with his doubles partner Deven Summers. Turner led the Bobcats to the AMCC semifinals in 2022.

In No. 3 singles, he went 8-1 overall and 5-0 in the AMCC. In No. 2 doubles, he was 5-5 overall, including 4-1 in the AMCC. He led the Lions in overall singles wins and tied for first in conference singles wins, overall doubles wins, and conference doubles wins. Hess also earned two AMCC Player of the Week awards this season.

Coach of the Year honors goes to Penn State Altoona head coach Megan Stern. Stern led the Lions to a 4-1 record in conference play and a No. 1 seed in the AMCC Championship Tournament.
