COMPTON, MILLER TAKE TOP AWARDS AS ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM IS RELEASED

Penn State Behrend freshman Tim Compton was named the Allegheny Empire Championship Men's Swimmer of the Meet and therefore is the AMCC Men's Swimmer and Newcomer of the Year. Compton won three individual titles, including the 500 free (4:41.21), the 400 IM (4:07.30), and the 200 butterfly (1:53.39), giving him three individual gold medals.

Alfred State College senior Austin Miller was named the AMCC Diver of the Year. Miller placed first overall in the 3m diving with a finals score of 420.0, while also finishing first in the AMCC in the 1m with a score of 378.65.

Alfred State head coach Mike Smiechowski was named the Allegheny Empire Coach of the Meet, as he led the Pioneers to their first AMCC title in program history.
