#3 Mount Aloysius College and #5 Alfred State College each picked up victories in the AMCC Men's Soccer First Round games to advance to conference semifinals. The Mounties defeated #6 Pitt-Greensburg 4-0, while the Pioneers earned the 2-0 upset over #4 Pitt-Bradford.
Mount Aloysius 4, Pitt-Greensburg 0
Mount Aloysius and Pitt-Greensburg went into halftime tied at 0-0 before the Mounties were able to open up the scoring in the second half. At the 43:34 mark, Jonathan Fernandez connected on a shot following a corner kick to give the Mounties the 1-0 advantage. Mount's Tevin Beedle scored back-to-back goals less than 10 minutes apart to expand the Mountie led to 3-0. With six minutes to play in the game, Jesper Stensson set the final score at 4-0 when he found the back of the net.
Alfred State 2, Pitt-Bradford 0
Alfred State's Nuri Sarbudak opened the scoring for the Pioneers at the 39:49 mark to make the score 1-0, as Jack Leahy was credited with the assist. Sarbudak once again found the back of the net in the second half at the 85:45 mark, this time get getting the unassisted goal. Alfred State goalkeeper Thad Grierson saw five shots on goal, stopping all five shots that came his way.

The AMCC semifinals will take place on Wednesday, November 3. #5 Alfred State will play at #1 Medaille at 4:00pm, while #2 Penn State Behrend will host #3 Mount Aloysius at 1:00pm.
The winners from Wednesday's games will meet up on Saturday, November 6 for the AMCC Championship
