In a loss against Alfred State, DiRienzo recorded 25 points, eight rebounds, three steals, and two assists. In a win over Mount Aloysius on Saturday, he scored a season-high 27 points, grabbed six rebounds, and once again added three steals and two assists. DiRienzo drained seven three pointers on the week and went 7-for-8 from the charity stripe.
BEST OF THE REST: La Roche G/F Joe Pipilo averaged 21.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 2.0 steals per game in a 1-1 week for the Redhawks, as he recorded 25 points, eight rebounds, five assists, two steals and a block agaist PS-Altoona and followed that up with 18 points, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals in a narrow five-point win over Pitt-Bradford...PS-Altoona F Mason Bush had a big week for the Lions, as he recorded his first double-double of the season with 13 points to go along with a game-high, season-high 12 rebounds against La Roche before he led all scorers with 26 points while also finishing with four steals, three rebounds, and two assists in a big win over Hilbert...Pitt-Greensburg F Octavius Hardy averaged a double-double this week and was key to the Bobcats winning both games, as he shot over 58 percent from the field and averaged 15.5 points per game, with his high of 20 points coming against Alfred State, while also adding 10.5 rebounds per game and three assists...Alfred State C Cody Schneider led the Pioneers to a 1-1 week, including a big win over PS-Behrend on Wednseday night, as he finished with 21 points, six rebounds and two steals against the Lions, he then recorded 16 points, six rebounds, four assists, four steals and two blocks in a loss to Pitt-Greensburg...Hilbert F Jahmel Demery led the Hawks to a 1-1 record last week, averaging 10.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per contest, as the junior forward was efficient from the field shooting 69.2 percent per game.
