PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Pitt-Greensburg OF Brody Bonadio batted .565 and drove in nine runs for the Bobcats in six AMCC games last week. He was the table setter in the leadoff position and scored seven runs and added four extra base hits for the Bobcats. On top of playing a solid center field, he came in and pitched 4.1 innings of relief for his first pitching appearance of the year. He gave up just three earned runs and struck out two batters.

 

BEST OF THE REST:

PS-Altoona C Richard Carey continued his hot hitting this season by helping power the Lions to a 4-2 performance in AMCC play last week, recording a multi-hit showing in five of six contests, as he hit .480 (12-for-25) with nine runs scored, six RBI, three doubles, two walks, one triple, and one stolen base...Pitt-Bradford C Jake McNabb hit .563 with six runs scored and three runs batted in as the Panthers went 3-1 in games with McNabb in the Lineup, as he reached base at a .632 clip with two three-hit games on the week...PS-Behrend P John Berger contributed at least a hit in four-of-five games this past week, having two multi-hit performances to help Behrend to a 4-1 record, as he started the week with a three-hit game against Hilbert, driving in four and swiping two bags and finishing the double header with four hits and three runs scored, he then picked up a pair of knocks in the opening game against Westminster along with two more RBIs, finishing the week with a total of seven...Mount Aloysius P/INF Tyler Quade had an impressive week for the 3-1 Mounties, as he went 7-for-14 on the week, including a 6-for-8 performance on Saturday against Pitt-Bradford with a homerun and a double, as he drove in three runs and scored six times, while walking twice...Alfred State P/1B/OF Matteo Avallone recorded a .429 batting average with three hits and three RBIs in the Pioneers split with La Roche, he hit a walk-off home run to left field giving the Pioneers the win for the first game, recording his eighth homerun of the season, continuing to lead the AMCC...Hilbert CF Misael Guzman Caez finished the week with a .364 batting average including a home run, two RBIs, one run scored and added a stolen base...Medaille P/INF Samuel Beutler went 3-for-6 at the plate earning himself a .500 batting average, a .571 on base percentage, and an .833 slugging percentage, recording two doubles, and one RBI, as his best game was game one against Pitt-Bradford where he went 1-for-2 with one double.
