PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Pitt-Bradford SS Tyler Hoops hit .545 in the Panthers three-game sweep of Wells over the weekend. He recorded two hits in each of the games and hit four triples. Hoops scored four runs, drove in four and stole two bases. Hoops also drew a walk and was hit by pitches twice, adding up to a .643 on-base percentage from the leadoff spot. He also played all 23 innings at shortstop without committing an error.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Hilbert INF Jonathan Wilson opened up the 2020 season on fire offensively as he finished the weekend hitting .500 with a 1.083 slugging percentage, recording two doubles, a triple and a home run, while adding three RBIs and six runs scored over the Hawks first four games of the spring...PS-Behrend INF Josh Wagner hit .500 in a three-game series against Spalding to open the season for the Lions, as he went 3-for-4 in the opener and 2-for-4 with a double in the series finale on Sunday, entering spring break on a three-game hitting streak
