PITCHER OF THE WEEK: La Roche SR Jackson Rogers recorded his first win this season during the Redhawks' conference play debut, and he threw a shutout. Medaille did not score a single run with Rogers on the mound for the Redhawks. He pitched all nine innings of the second game of the double header and faced 33 batters. He threw 89 pitches on the day, and 70 of them were strikes; 26 first pitches thrown were also strikes. Rogers struck out 11 batters, and only allowed four hits.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Mount Aloysius JR Dylan Cole picked up the Mounties' first AMCC victory of the year on the mound against Hilbert, while recording one strikeout, the junior only allowed three hits and one run, earning the 7.0 innings complete game win...Pitt-Bradford SO Kyler Majka picked up the win for Pitt-Bradford in the Panthers' 7-6 victory over Penn State-Dubois, as he threw 7+ innings, allowing three earned runs on six hits while striking out five batters...Alfred State FR Jack Josephson picked up his third win of the season after pitching seven innings and only allowing five hits, one run, walking two while striking out five against Pitt-Greensburg in the Pioneers' 6-1 win...Pitt-Greensburg JR Michael Sullivan pitched eight innings last week and gave up just three runs, striking out six batters and recording a 6.75 k/9 with a 3.38 ERA...Medaille FR Josh Wolski recorded a 1.29 ERA in a loss to Keuka, as he allowed seven hits while getting four strikeouts in seven innings, as he averaged 5.14 strikeouts per nine innings with only three walks...Hilbert SO Michael Contini continued his strong play this spring with a complete game performance in the Hawks AMCC opener against Mount Aloysius, as he scattered six hits over seven innings and did not walk a single batter, finishing the day with one earned run allowed and three strikeouts.
