PITCHER OF THE WEEK: Alfred State SO Andrew Santobuono has a pair of victories in the Pioneers first six games. He threw six shutout innings (three hits) with eight strikeouts vs. Wesley last weekend and then threw another six innings in a victory over Brockport. Versus Brockport, he allowed six hits and two earned runs while walking one and striking out three. He is 2-0 with a 1.50 ERA thus far in 12 innings of work. 

BEST OF THE REST: Pitt-Bradford SR Ryan Boyer was dominant in a 5-0 victory over Bethany on Sunday, as he threw a two-hit shutout in which he struck out 15 of 21 batters retired. After striking out the first seven batters, he allowed two hits in the third and then retired the final 14 batters to end the game. Against nationally-ranked Randolph-Macon, Boyer allowed five runs in four innings while striking out five. In two games, Boyer is 1-1 with a 4.09 ERA and 20 strikeouts over 11 innings...Mount Aloysius JR Douglas Cannon earned the Mounties first win of the season in their doubleheader sweep of Chatham on Sunday afternoon, throwing five innings in relief and only allowing one run on two hits...La Roche JR Tristan Tinney started on the mound in game two for La Roche in Sunday's season opener doubleheader against Oswego and Baldwin Wallace, as he pitched 5.0 innings, striking out six batters and only walking one while allowing three earned runs.
