PITCHER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona SR Jared Dailey had a great week on the mound for the Lions, including helping his team pick up a big win at AMCC opponent Penn State Behrend on Saturday. On Thursday against non-conference Saint Vincent, Dailey pitched one inning and struck out one batter while allowing an unearned run. On Saturday, he got the start on the mound and pitched a complete game victory over Behrend. In that game, he went seven innings and limited Behrend to two runs on five hits and four walks while striking out three. On the week, Dailey was 1-0 with a 2.25 ERA, giving up two earned runs in eight innings and recording four strikeouts.

 

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend SO Phil Myers controlled Altoona on the mound in game two of Saturday's doubleheader, cruising through six innings, allowing seven hits and two runs while striking out six to pick up his fifth win of the season...La Roche JR Ethan Lewis allowed just one hit and one baserunner in their 13-0 win over D'Youville, registering the victory after striking out five in six shutout innings...Medaille JR Ryan Wojcinski threw six innings for the win against D'Youville , allowing no earned runs and four hits, striking out five, improving his record to 5-2 on the season...D'Youville FR Tyler Siegmann picked up the save against Medaille, as he recorded the final nine outs, pitching three innings and securing the win, allowing one hit, striking out three and walking no batters for his first career collegiate save...Pitt-Bradford SR Justin Beimel threw eight innings, picking up the win over D'Youville, giving up nine hits and four earned runs...Pitt-Greensburg JR Brandon Hoener went 1-0 this past week, posting a 4.22 ERA in 10.2 innings of work firing a six-hit complete-game shutout in the first game of the doubleheader against D'Youville, striking out four to move to 5-2 on the season...Hilbert FR Henry Bowers tossed five innings against Alfred State, allowing three runs while striking out six to earn the win, marking his fourth of the season...Mount Aloysius JR Tyghe Bowers picked up the win over Pitt-Bradford, going 6.0 innings, giving up seven hits, thre runs, three walks, while striking out five.
