FERGUSON, WILT, AND BOWIE NAMED TO MIDEAST ALL-REGION TEAM; ROWE TABBED COACH OF THE YEAR

La Roche starting pitchers senior Tyler Ferguson and junior Tanner Wilt, along wih Mount Aloysius junior outfielder Connor Bowie, were named to the Mideast All-Region teams. La Roche head coach Chase Rowe is the Mideast Region Coach of the Year.

Ferguson is an All-Region First Teamer for the second straight year. He led the AMCC with a 0.32 ERA, while also ranking third in strikeouts (33) and fourth in strikeouts per game (10.61). He led the AMCC with four conference wins and nine overall, and gave up just one earned run against AMCC opponents. He threw two complete games in the NCAA Regional Tournament and finishes his career as the school's all-time leader in wins and strikeouts.

Wilt makes the All-Region Third Team after finishing the year with a 4-1 record, a 1.91 ERA and 63 strikeouts. He ranked second in the AMCC with a 0.72 ERA and seventh in the nation at 12.06 strike outs per game. 

Bowie, the 2015 AMCC Player of the Year, was named to the third team. He finished the season ranked first in the AMCC with 22 stolen bases and ended in a tie for second in the conference with eight home runs. He also finished tied for second in the conference with five triples and third with a .635 slugging percentage. Bowie added 53 total hits on the season and 33 RBI's. In addition to being named an AMCC Player of the Week, Bowie was also named to the D3baseball.com National Team of the Week for April 28th. Bowie hit .358 for the Mounties in 38 starts and has registered a .987 fielding percentage in the outfield.

Coach Rowe was named the Mideast Region Coach of the Year after winning AMCC Coach of the Year for the fourth time in the past five years. Rowe led the Redhawks to a 14-2 conference record and a school-record 33 wins. They won their third AMCC Championship in the past four years and the team made it all the way to the NCAA Regional Championship.
