Hilbert College Men's soccer team beat the Villa Maria Vikings by a score of 8-0 earlier today. The team was led by the stellar play of Hector Harris who led the team with a hat trick and two assists.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Hector Harris started off the scoring for the Hawks by netting two back-to-back goals only six minutes apart which were assisted by John Schroth and Reese Tomporowski. Today's game was Harris' first multi-goal game in his Hilbert career.
• The first half ended with a 2-0 Hilbert lead until Hunter Holler scored his first ever goal as a Hawk putting them up by three less than three minutes into the second period.
• Hector Harris found Carter Burke who would bury his first goal of the contest with thirty five minutes remaining.
• Jason Vullo took a pass from Connor Dispense putting in his fourth goal of the season and Hilbert's fifth of the game.
• Hector Harris feed Carter Burke again for his second goal of the game where he put a beautiful shot into the top right.
• With twenty minutes left in the game, Harris scored his final goal of the competition beating the Villa Maria keeper for the third time.
• Finally John Schroth finished a Beckham Blair pass to put the Hawks up 8-0.

GAME NOTES

• Throughout the competition Hilbert racked up sixteen shots on target to Villa Maria's three.
• Hilbert also earned themselves nine corner kicks and only conceded one.
• Logan Peck earned his first collegiate clean sheet in the win.
