The Alfred State Women's Soccer team matched up with the Lycoming Warriors and fell 3-1.
After heading into halftime locked at zero, the initial goal was knocked in by the Pioneers in the 46 minute. Jena Schelble (Boston, NY/ Springville) scored on a free kick from just outside the box. Schelble has put one in the back of the net in two straight games.
The Pioneer Women's Soccer team is scheduled to play their first conference match this Saturday, October 1 against Penn St.- Altoona.
