ELMIRA, N.Y. – The Hawks dropped an 11-5 non-conference road baseball game against Elmira as a prep-game to tomorrow's league double header at Mt. Aloysius.

Hilbert and the Soaring Eagles were knotted 4-4 through four innings but the Hawks offense stalled while the hosts closed the game with a 7-1 effort.

Eric Flores went 2-for-3 and joined Connor Duck and Ryan Samuels with doubles today.

Ian Moran picked his 28th career stolen base inching closer to the program's all-time record of 33.

Duck went 2-for-4 with an RBI and scored two runs along with one stolen base.

Daniel Munn went five innings and gave up seven earned runs off 11 hits and struck out two.

The Hawks were down by two runs through two innings until they padded three runs in the third.  Duck earned an RBI off his double, Winfred Nelson followed with an RBI scoring Flores.  Tristan Aldinger, who went 2-for-5, singled to third which scored Duck to finish the inning.

Elmira manufactured five runs spaced over the next three innings and built a 9-4 lead by the bottom of the 6th.

Duck scored the Hawks final run off Ryan Samuels' double in the 7th but the Soaring Eagles scored two more runs in the 8th setting the 11-5 score.

Hilbert (6-15, 3-5 AMCC) will enjoy a nice warm day in Cresson, Pa tomorrow when they face Mt. Aloysius (4-17, 2-2).
