Panthers Fall to Alfred

Bradford, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford Men's tennis team lost its rescheduled match against Alfred University 9-0 on Wednesday Afternoon.

The Panthers struggled against a more experienced Saxon team but were able to see some improvement. The Panthers' #2 doubles team of Felix Moronge and Luke Gratz were able to pick up two games won in their first time playing together.

Moronge also had his best day of the season in singles play. Playing at #4, Moronge lost his match but was able to set a new personal record for games won. He lost the first set 2-6, and the second 4-6. Christian Dixon was also able to win a game playing in the top pairing.

The Panthers have completed their scheduled matches for the Fall semester with an 0-6 record. Currently, their next contest is scheduled for the spring semester but could look to add matches as the weather holds up this fall.
