PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The La Roche women's volleyball team was back in non-conference action today against the Houghton Highlanders. The Redhawks lost in straight sets and Houghton improved to 5-0 on the year. The Redhawks hit 20 kills in the match with a .122 hit pct. In comparison, the Highlanders hit 43 kills with a .289 hit pct. 

BOMBS AWAY:  Junior Ingrid Spear led her team for the second straight match with 6 kills.

DISTRIBUTION LINE: Senior Bailey McDonald led the Redhawks in assists with 10. McDonald has led in assists in all but one match so far this year. 

BUMP IT UP: Senior Erin Connor had a team leading 6 digs.

NEXT UP: La Roche heads to Waynesburg University on September 11th to take on the Yellow Jackets at 7:00 ET. The Redhawks have won 5 of their last 6 matchups against Waynesburg.
