EDEN, N.Y.  – The Hilbert College women's lacrosse team hosted the NEAC league-leaders this afternoon at Eden High School. 

Morrisville State stifled the Hawks' offense, claimed a 21-0 North Eastern Athletic Conference victory and continued to hold their top spot in the league with a 2-0 record.

The Mustangs built a 10-goal cushion with 12 minutes left in the opening period and never looked back.

The Hawks attempted five shots and two shots-on-goal throughout the sixty minute game.  Calista Mis and Josephine Ban attempted two shots each with Ashley Binn getting credit for Hilbert's final attempt.

Brianna Stegmeier collected a team-high three ground balls and Ban won four of the team's 12 draw controls.

Ashley Repine made three saves through the first thirty minutes and Caitlyn Eleczko closed the game with her first collegiate appearance in goal making four saves.

The Hawks (1-6, 0-2) will travel east down the NYS thruway to battle Cazenovia College Sunday, April 8 with a 12p start.
