The Wells College men's soccer team fell on the wrong side of a 4-1 score against visiting Medaille College on Tuesday, Sept. 7 at the Wells Turf Field.
The Express entered the second half at a 1-1 tie after Ryan Nugent drew the team even in the final minutes of the first. With the game even up until the game's 70th minute of play, the Mavericks broke through with the game's final goals in the last 20 minutes to take the contest.
Colton Jaquith had three dozen shots attempted against him and finished the contest with nine saves from 12 on goal.
The Express next travel to Keuka College on Wednesday, Sept. 15 with a 7 p.m. start in the team's final non-conference start before United East play begins.
