MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - The 2017 Hilbert College men's lacrosse team took the field for the first time this spring and suffered a 16-8 loss to Kean University.
Adam Zawadzki was credited with 15 saves in his first start of the season and
Tyler Nicoloff and
Edward Mathias each netted twice with an assist down in Myrtle Beach. Â
Kean jumped out to a 10-3 lead by half time and maintained that advantage with a 6-5 offensive production in the final 30 minutes of action.
Matthew Simon added a single goal and two assists while
Codie Thomas posted one assist as the Hawks got their first taste of outside competition this spring.
The Hawks will continue to train down in Myrtle Beach during their spring break trip. Â Hilbert will stop in Greensboro, N.C. this Saturday for a 12pm non-league game against the Greensboro Pride who are 1-4 after today's 15-9 loss to NEAC-foe Cazenovia. Â Fans can follow the game via live stats (
