HAMBURG, N.Y. – The Hilbert College women's volleyball team hosted their season opening game tonight and fell in a 3-0 defeat to Elmira College from the Empire 8 league.
The Soaring Eagles went 25-9, 25-7 and then 25-9 in the final set as they improved 2-3 overall. The Hawks completed five kills over the course of the evening and dropped to 0-5 on the season.
Torianna LeWand posted 3 kills and 12 digs.
Hannah Prenoveau and
Natassia West earned the game's only block assist.

Hilbert hits the road this Friday when they travel to Hartwick College for a 6pm game against Oneonta. Hilbert then battles Kings College (10 am) and Hartwick (12pm) on Saturday.
