FT. PIERCE, Fl – Hilbert College watched the game slip away early and could not recover in the 9-4 loss to Immaculata University in baseball this morning. The Hawks scored three runs in the top of the 8th making it competitive, but the Mighty Mac's 8-0 lead through six innings held through Hilbert's final out in the 9th.

Ryan Bonafede went 3 for 4, knocked in two runs, stole one base and added two more doubles to his stats this spring. Senior
Michael Best went 2 for 3 as the only other multi-hit Hawk this morning.
Anthony Wurstner took the loss with his first appearance on the mound.
Michael Goodberry went 2 1/3 innings out of the pen and allowed just one run.
Bonafede and Goodberry were the start of three different defensive pick-offs.
Eric Flores and
Kevin Moore each hit a sacrifice fly and completed Hilbert's four runs today.
Hilbert (2-4) will face Geneva College twice tomorrow with a pair of 7-inning games beginning at 10am. The Hawks close-out their spring training in Florida on Saturday against Maritime College before they head home to Western New York.
