Men's Basketball hosts Pitt-Bradford for first home game!

The Express men's basketball team hosted the Pitt-Bradford Panthers on Saturday afternoon for their first home game of the season.

The Express was coming off a road win against Cazenovia College earlier in the week.

This game kicked off and Pitt came out ready. hey immediately jumped on the Express and carried an 8-10 point lead for the majority of the first half. The Express missed more than a few easy buckets to start and were fighting their way back ever since. As the first half started to wind down the Express was able to cut the lead to 11 when they went into the locker room. The Express definitely brought the energy in the second half and fought all the way back to take the lead by a score of 49-48. Senior Ty McBride started the runoff with 3 quick steals to help the Express claw its way back into the game. The rest of the game was as close as it gets with each team trading baskets. Unfortunately in the end the Panthers were able to steal one on the road from the Express by a score of 75-68.

Ransel Rodriguez leads the scoring for the Express with 21 points and 2 steals.

The Express will be back in action tomorrow as they host SUNY ESF at 2 pm.
