ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's tennis team collected their first Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) win, taking down Penn State Altoona 8-1 on Saturday in front of a home crowd.

* The Lions won all six singles matches and two doubles to complete the week 2-1
* Erica Jasinski (Fairview, PA/Fairview) has won three straight singles matches at No. 1
* She took Mikhaela Merca to a tiebreaker set, winning 7-5, 6-7 and 10-8
* Jasinski teamed with Rachel Weber (Allison Park, PA/Hampton) for an 8-1 win at No. 1 doubles
* Weber then tallied a convincing 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 2 singles
* Jayna Baer (Pittsburgh, PA/Moon) and Rachel Fleming (Saint Marys, PA/Saint Marys) earned their first doubles win together in the No. 2 spot
* Baer and Fleming blanked their opponents, 8-0
* Baer also recorded a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 3 singles and Fleming registered a 7-5, 6-2 decision in the fourth spot
* The final points came from Keri Saulino and Madison Gannon in the remaining singles matches
* Saulino won 6-2, 6-1 at No. 5 and Gannon collected her first collegiate singles win 6-4, 6-2 in the fifth spot
