GREENVILLE, Pa. - The Hilbert College Hawks traveled to Thiel College this afternoon for a double header non-conference set of volleyball games.  

The Tomcats took the opening match (3-0) before the Hawks fell to Westminster in three in the night cap.

Ashley Repine earned three solo blocks and averaged 2.33 kills per set while Hannah Prenoveau led with 3.00 digs per set.

Torianna LeWand quarterbacked the Hawks with 3.83 assists per set while collecting three service aces today.  Sara Trzepkowski posted 17 digs, one less than Prenoveau.

Thiel (14-15 overall) won three straight (25-8, 25-10, 25-15) earning 59 points, 11 from behind the service line.

Repine (5) and Natassia West (3) combined for eight of Hilbert's nine kills; Repine added two more points from solo blocks as well as seven digs.

LeWand did a little bit of everything adding two service aces, nine assists and shared team-high honors with Trzepkowski in digs (10).

Westminster (26-2) also controlled the pace of the nightcap, winning 25-10, 25-11, 25-11.

Prenoveau was credited with 12 digs as LeWand finished with 4 kills and 14 assists which set up all of Hilbert's other kills.  Repine chipped in another nine kills.

Hilbert (0-18) closes their season with a pair of road AMCC games next week.  The Hawks travel to Pitt-Bradford for a 7pm game October 24 and then to Franciscan October 27 for a 1pm game.
