BRYN ATHYN, Pa.  – Hilbert College suffered an 18-3 North Eastern Athletic Conference defeat at the sticks of Byrn Athyn College in women's lacrosse this afternoon. 

The Hawks trailed 2-1 early in the game and 5-2 midway through the first half, but the Lions maintained possession of the ball and went on a 6-1 run before closing the game with seven unanswered scores.

Aaryonah Vaughn netted both first half goals for the Hawks and Victoria Santos scored her second goal of the season just 64-seconds into the second half.

Caitlyn Eleczko was credited with 16 saves and six ground balls.

Vaughn led the field players with three ground balls and two caused turnovers. 

Calista Mis won five draw controls and Brooklynn Gormel (assist) and Josephine Ban (assists) each earned three draws as well.

The Lions outshot the Hawks, 45-15 but other than that, statistically, they were within 10 stats from each other.

Hilbert (1-12, 0-7) returns to Hamburg this weekend for their final games of the regular season.  The Hawks will host Keuka April 27 and then host their Senior Day celebrations April 28 against Well College (3:30 pm).
