ERIE, Pa. - The Penn State Behrend women's basketball team tallied convincing 103-52 win over Penn State Altoona in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Game of the Week on Saturday in the Junker Center.

* Behrend opened a 27-14 lead after a quarter and extended the margin to 50-22 by halftime
* The Behrend Lions cashed 20 of 40 shots in the opening 20 minutes including five from long distance
* Rachel Majewski (Erie, PA/Villa Maria Academy) tallied 21 points in the half on 8-for-16 shooting
* Madilyn Boyer (Saxonburg, PA/Knoch) followed with 17, making 7-of-12 shots
* Behrend forced a dozen Altoona turnovers and owned a 26-16 advantage on the boards
* Avana Sayles had eleven of Altoona's first half points
* The lead grew to 81-42 after three quarters
* Majewski scored nine points in the third before leaving with a season- and career-best 30 points

* Saturday marked the second time in the last four games that Behrend eclipsed 100 points
* The 51-point victory margin tied for the second highest this season, bettered only by a 60-point verdict (105-45) against Pitt-Bradford on January 11
