Three Reach Double Figures at Greensburg

Pitt Greensburg was able to pull away from Alfred State with a strong 2nd quarter as the Bobcats defeated the Pioneers 81-60 on Saturday.

The Bobcats got the lead early but the contest was tied at 13-13 with 2:48 left in the 1st quarter. UPG took a three-point lead, 18-15, into the 2nd quarter. In the 2nd quarter, Greensburg was able to push the lead to as many as 15 and led 40-28 at the break. The Pioneers were unable to claw back into the game as the Bobcats held a 41-32 advantage in the 2nd half.

Jordyn Pettit (Wellsville) led three scorers in double figures with 17 points. My'ana Davis (Greece Athena) continued her solid play as of late with 12 points while Kelsey Shaulis (Ovid/South Seneca) finished with 10 points and six boards. Emily Kelley (Andover) chipped in nine points, five rebounds, four assists, and three blocks.

Six Bobcats finished in double figures with Nadege Durand leading the way with 17. Cat Gollihugh had 15 points and five assists while Shaquoia McCray had a double-double with 12 points and 19 rebounds.

The blue & gold play their final home game of the season on Wednesday when they host Medaille at 8 p.m.
