Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Reynolds and Robillard Combine for 19 Saves In Loss

BRADFORD, Pa. - After giving up two quick goals in the game's first 15 minutes, the Hilbert College men's soccer team hung with Pitt-Bradford through intermission, but a pair of second half scores gave the Panthers a shutout home-field victory.

Bradford posted their second Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference win (4-0 score) while Hilbert continued to battle the full 90 minutes with low roster numbers and limited rest.

Defenders Stephen Wetherell, Sebastian Flewellyn, Mike Gullo, Carl Zarcone and Christopher Russo remain on-call each minute of the game with the focus of breaking up attacks and limiting shots on goal.

Sophomore goalie Tucker Reynolds was credited with 10 saves before he left the game at 38:42 due to injury.  Freshman Evan Robillard did yeoman's work making nine saves against 24 shots in over 51 minutes.

Brandon Bundschuh and Russo were tagged with a one shot on goal each while Flewellyn and Caleb Denton added one shot each.

The Panthers took 39 shots and held a 19-1 advantage in corner kicks.

Hilbert (0-8, 0-3 AMCC) hits the road this weekend when they travel to Mt Aloysius (9-1-1, 3-0) for another AMCC double header with the women's teams.
