PITTSBURGH, Pa. - La Roche Volleyball found themselves against the ropes in an unfortunate loss against Chatham University after being swept 3-0 (16-25, 20-25, 13-25) bringing their overall record to four wins and eleven losses. The cougars dominated all across the board with 44 kills to La Roche's 22, a .243 killing percentage to .082, 41 assists to 20, 71 digs to 60, and 5 blocks to 2, all respectively.
Chatham University's Junior Outside hitter Rylee Ritko managed to grasp a double-double with 12 kills and 13 digs while the Cougar's Freshman Outside hitter Kaley Davis had 12 kills of her own, Junior Setter Shaelah Pepperman had an astonishing match high of 38 assists, and Sophomore Libero Meghan Dominek had a match high of 19 digs.
On the other hand, La Roche's senior outside hitter Bethany Nulph (Saxonburg, PA / Knoch) held a team high of 10 kills and a .226 hitting percentage. Junior setter Cassidy Rossi (Pittsburgh, PA / Shaler) assisted the Redhawks with a team high 12 assists and senior libero Sydney Herzer (Huber Heights, OH / Wayne) posted a team high of 18 digs.
