Men's Soccer Falls in Home Contest

The Alfred State Men's Soccer team lost 2-1 against Penn State Harrisburg on Saturday at Pioneer Stadium.

Penn State Harrisburg got up early, scoring in minute 19 and then quickly scoring again in the 29th minute. However, the Pioneers responded in the 40th minute off a free kick by Nuri Sabudak (Pittsford, NY) and headed into halftime down 2-1.

Although the Pioneers had some opportunities, they were not able to capitalize and finished the game 2-1. Thaddeus Grierson (Perry, NY) had seven saves in goal today.

The Pioneers look to bounce back on Tuesday, September 27th against Wells College. The game will start at 6:00pm at Pioneer Stadium.
