FORT PIERCE, Fla. – The Penn State Behrend baseball team dropped their final game on spring break to Dominican 8-3 on Saturday afternoon.

Key Moments:

* The Lions scored all three runs in the first inning
* With two on and two outs thanks to a Juston Jones (Moon Township, PA/Moon) single and Zack Bowen (Pittsburgh, PA/Sierra Catholic) walk the Lions tallied two runs in the bottom of the frame
* CJ Weller (Sewickley, PA/North Allegheny) singled up the middle to score Jones and Christian Pacifico (Somerset, PA/Somerset) drove in Bowen and Weller on the next single up the right side
* Dominican answered with three runs in the top of the second to even it at 3-all
* The Stars added another run in the sixth and four in the seventh for the final margin
* Jones and Pacifico finished with two hits apiece
* Caleb Caldwell (Frewsburg, NY/Frewsburg) started and pitched the first four innings, striking out six
* Relief pitcher Jacob Lindow (Bridgeville, PA/Chartiers Valley) fanned eight and allowed the final five runs
* Frankie Sessa led Dominican with three hits and three RBIs along with a  triple
