Pioneers Conclude Road Trip with Sweep of D'Youville

The Alfred State volleyball team wrapped up a six game road trip with a 25-22, 25-12, 25-20 victory at D'Youville on Tuesday evening. The Pioneers are 9-10 overall and 3-5 in AMCC play.

The blue & gold had a solid all around game. They collected at least 11 kills in each of the three sets, hit .267 on the match, and collected eight service aces.

Alyssa Fox (Letchworth) had a monster game as she led the team with 15 kills and a .462 hitting percentage (15 kills, three errors, 26 attempts). She also had seven digs and two service aces. Kiara Perkins (Coudersport, PA) finsihed with seven kills, 13 digs, and four aces while Jordan McCooey (Horseheads) passed out 30 assists and had nine digs. 

The Pioneers return to the Orvis Activities on Saturday when they host Penn State Altoona at 10 a.m.
