KEUKA PARK, N.Y. - The Hilbert Hawks volleyball team returned to action tonight in a single game on Day One of the Keuka Invitational Tournament.
The Hawks slipped to SUNY Canton, who has jumped out to a 5-0 record already this first week of the season, in three sets (25-16, 25-14, 25-10).
Torianna LeWand was credited with 8 kills and zero hitting errors in the 19 attempts tonight.
Sara Trzepkowski earned all 14 assists and
Natassia West led Hilbert with six digs while
Ashley Repine posted a pair of service aces.
Canton finished the game with a .267 attack percent and 20 service aces. The Hawks hit in the positive tonight (.096) and went seven players deep.
Hilbert (0-2) returns to action tomorrow with a 1pm game against Alfred State and then closes the tourney on the main court with live streaming
video and
stats against Keuka College (3pm).
