FORT PIERCE, Fla. – The Marymount baseball team had a big second inning to take the lead for good and defeat Penn State Behrend 12-3 on Wednesday afternoon.

Key Moments:

* Marymount halted the Lions three-game winning streak
* The Saints smacked 18 hits and scored 12 runs, scoring six runs in the second inning and four in the ninth
* Marymount tallied 10 runs with runners on base and smacked five hits with two outs showing
* Behrend recorded three runs on 10 hits, led by Josh Wagner's (South Park, PA/South Park) pair of hits
* Wagner has a hit in every game this season
* Matt Schietroma (Gibsonia, PA/Pine Richland) started on the mound and pitched six innings, striking out five
* Jake Dietz (Erie, PA/McDowell) registered an RBI double in the second inning and Juston Jones (Moon Township, PA/Moon) smacked a his first collegiate triple in the fifth
* Bobby Leitzel, the lead off hitter, went 4-for-6 with a pair of RBIs for Marymount
