ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's volleyball team won their fourth straight with a 3-0 decision over Fredonia in non-conference action on Tuesday night.  

Final Score: Penn State Behrend 3, Fredonia 0 (25-20, 25-17, 25-19)
Records: Penn State Behrend (8-4), Fredonia (5-7)

Key Moments:

* Behrend jumped ahead 2-0 in the match and rallied back from a seven-point deficit in the third to complete the sweep over the Blue Devils
* Down 18-11 in the third, Keely Hering (North East, PA/North East) eight straight points to force Fredonia to take both timeouts
* With an 20-18 lead thanks to Hering's serve, the Lions relied on four block assists including back-to-back blocks from Hannah Phillips (Pittsburgh, PA/North Allegheny) and Sarah Cole (Stoneboro, PA/Lakeview)
* Behrend closed out the final set with a kill by Dani Kosslow (Pittsburgh, PA/South Park) and an ace by Maddie Clapper (Hollidaysburg, PA/Hollidaysburg)
* Kosslow finished with a match-best 27 assists and added five kills while Clapper led with 12 digs
* Kristin Reiland (Fairview, PA/Villa Maria Academy) registered a .600 attack percentage from nine kills on 15 attempts
* Reiland also recorded three blocks along with Brooke Joncas (Corry, PA/Corry)
* Phillips contributed eight kills, five digs and two blocks
* The Lions tallied their first win over Fredonia since 2016
