LATROBE, PA – The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg golf team traveled down Route 30 this afternoon for a head-to-head matchup with Saint Vincent College at Latrobe Country Club. The Bearcats bested the Bobcats, 3-2.
 

The teams squared off in a match play format. Match play consists of each golfer going against one other on a hole-by-hole basis, rather than the traditional stroke play style. 

Joe Doubt and Will Thorp were the winners for the Bobcats.

The Bobcats will return to tournament play this weekend at the Guy and Jeanne Kuhn Memorial Invitational in Meadville, Pa. The two-round event tees off on Sunday and wraps up on Monday.
