HAMBURG, N.Y. - Senior Caleb Denton scored his first goal of the season in Hilbert's 6-1 loss to La Roche College in AMCC men's soccer this afternoon.

The Hawks limited the visiting Redhawks in the opening period, giving up the game's first marker off a restart kick in the 43rd minute.

La Roche opened the second half hitting their second goal less than three minutes into the period.  After building a 3-0 advantage in the 57th minute, the Redhawks made substitutions and those fresh legs look the ball to the box for a trifecta between the 66th and 69th minute.

Denton read La Roche's goal correctly and hit the opposite open corner in the game's first PK at 82:30.

Freshman Evan Robillard was credited with a season-high 18 saves, many off fiercely kicked shots.

La Roche out shot the Hawks (51-4) and held a 6-1 advantage in corner kicks.

Prior to the start of the game, the men's soccer team honored Caleb Denton for his four years of dedicated service to the men's program.  

Hilbert (0-11, 0-6) will return to the grassy field in Hamburg next week when they welcome Penn State Behrend October 17 in a 3:15 pm start.
