MARCY, N.Y. - The Hilbert College men's volleyball team improved to 6-5 in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) play and jumped into a two-way tie for 4th place after the Hawks beat Wells College in four-sets this morning.

Korey Schwab led Hilbert with 18 kills and added 14 digs. Brett Kane also matched Schwab's defensive effort with 14 digs and posted eight assists and four kills.

Trevor Gabamonte reached for 12 digs and Tyler Sieczkarek collected 10 digs and a pair of service aces.

Adam Heftka was credited with 31 assists, two aces and 11 digs.

The Hawks finished the four-set match (16-25, 25-21, 25-20, 25-20) with three solo blocks (Kane, Sieczkarek and K Schwab) as well as six block assists.

Coaches Christopher Krueger and Jeffrey Hartman are excited to finally host a match at home this season. The Hawks (9-9 overall) welcome Medaille College (10-0 NEAC, 15-7 overall) on Tuesday, March 15 at 7pm in the Hafner Recreation Center.
