ATHOL SPRINGS, N.Y. – Thirteen different Hawks chipped in offensively and eight players earned both a ground ball and caused turnover as Hilbert College earned an impressive 26-1 victory over La Roche College in men's lacrosse.

James Duffy posted double figure points while Grant Stockman hustled to 11 ground balls along with five caused turnovers in the Hawks first Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference victory of the season.

Hilbert outshot the Redhawks (48-7), converted 22 of their 23 clears and dominated ground balls with a 54-24 edge.

The Hawks deep bench played in their favor as the shorthanded Redhawks survived Hilbert's offensive and defensive intensity today.

Austin Good forced seven caused turnovers and led the Hawks solid play as they posted 24 CT on the day.  Tyler Balsavage (4), Chase Harmon (3) and Anthony Cappola (2) challenged the Redhawks from start to finish knocking down attacks.

Duffy's six goals and five assists led a crew of multi-goal scorers today.  Joshua Schindler and Edward Mathias (3a) tacked on four goals each as Michael Bellanca (3 goals), and Anthony Cappola (2a), Ryan Spath (3a), Matthew Toro added a pair of goals.

Hilbert won 17 of the 30 faceoffs with Stockman (9-of-13) and Spath (7-for-12) carrying the effort in the circle.

Joseph Stevenson (2-2) was credited with one save over the first two quarters and Elijah Ryan made one in the third.  Spencer Kennedy saw his first minutes between the pipes in the fourth quarter.

Hilbert will travel to the preseason favorite Morrisville State midweek for their first North Eastern Athletic Conference match March 28.
