GRAND ISLAND, N.Y. – The Hilbert Men's Cross Country team earned a second place finish today at the Daniel Walker Invitational hosted by Buffalo State College at Beaver Island State Park.

Hilbert's first-year runner Kenneth Trometer was the second fastest male competitor today and he led the Hawks around the 5K course from start to finish.

The Hilbert men trailed Bryant & Stratton by one point as the Hawks combined for 28 points to take their program's highest finish at the annual, first weekend race of the year.
