ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's volleyball team defeated Grove City 3-1 in non-conference action on Wednesday night in the Junker Center.

Key Moments:

* Hannah Phillips (Pittsburgh, PA/North Allegheny) hit .406 behind a season-best 14 kills to go with 11 digs for her second double-double of the season
* Maddie Clapper (Hollidaysburg, PA/Hollidaysburg) produced a season-high 30 digs, including nine in the second set
* Brooke Joncas (Corry, PA/Corry) also had double-digit kills with 11, while Dani Kosslow (Pittsburgh, PA/South Park) dished out a season-high 37 assists on 48 kills
* Down 1-0 in the first set, Keely Hering (North East, PA/North East) served 13 straight points to take a commanding lead
* Behrend only gave up seven set points, knocking in 13 kills on 33 attempts with one error for a .364 attack percentage
* Despite five kills from Joncas and nine digs from Clapper, the Wolverines evened the match at 1-all with a close 25-22 win
* The Lions never trailed in the final two sets, turning a two-point lead early on into a 12-point lead by set point
* Phillips had three kills in the final five points for Behrend to take a 2-1 lead in the match
* In the fourth set, the Lions got eight points on Clapper's serve including the last seven points and behind three kills from Phillips and two from Kristin Reiland (Fairview, PA/Villa Maria Academy) for a 25-10 win
* Sarah Cole (Stoneboro, PA/Lakeview) added eight kills and a pair of blocks, while Kosslow led with four aces
